From St Albans with style. Tommy plays a beauty.

Seven players from Luton Chess Club entered the 2024 St Albans Chess Congress. Tommy O'Brien was our leading player at the event in the ECF 2050 Challengers Section. He saved his best performance for the fifth and final round in this game reminiscent from the film From Russia With Love. The game gets my vote for game of the season for a Luton Chess Club player.
